Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before renting a vehicle from COSTA MANOS YOURS CAR HIRE LTD.
1. Important Notice
- •The Northern Part of Cyprus is not under Cyprus Government control.
- •It is strictly forbidden to travel with your car hire and cross the border.
- •Your insurance will be terminated immediately and our 24/7 support will not be available in case of breakdown or accident.
- •Driving in Northern Cyprus is entirely at your own risk.
- •COSTA MANOS YOURS CAR HIRE LTD reserves the right to claim any amount from the hirer to cover damages or recovery costs caused in Northern Cyprus.
2. Damages (Republic of Cyprus)
- •In case of any damage within the Republic of Cyprus, the hirer or second driver remains responsible for the agreed excess amount stated in the contract.
3. Insurance Exclusions
- •Insurance does NOT cover:
- •• Passenger injuries or death
- •• Fire and theft
- •• Wheels, underbody, and glass
4. Driver Insurance
- •Insurance does NOT cover the driver's injuries or death.
5. Damage Charges
- •In case of damage to the vehicle, COSTA MANOS YOURS CAR HIRE LTD has the right to deduct from the hirer's credit card the maximum excess amount for damages not covered by insurance.
6. Full Liability Conditions
- •The hirer/driver is fully liable for all damages or injuries (including third parties) if:
- •a) The accident was caused by violation of traffic laws
- •b) The driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- •c) The vehicle was driven off-road or on gravel roads
- •d) The vehicle was driven by an unauthorized driver
7. Traffic Fines
- •All traffic fines are the responsibility of the hirer or second driver.
8. Agreement Termination
- •COSTA MANOS YOURS CAR HIRE LTD reserves the right to cancel the agreement and take possession of the vehicle at any time.
9. Early Return
- •If the vehicle is returned before the agreed date/time, no refund will be issued.
10. Late Return
- •If the vehicle is returned after the agreed time, the hirer will be charged for an additional full rental day.
11. Accident Reporting
- •Failure to notify the company immediately in case of an accident, incident, or damage will invalidate the insurance.
- •You must:
- •• Contact emergency numbers immediately
- •• Report before moving the vehicle
- •• Notify police if required
- •Failure to follow these steps will result in full liability.
